every time we have a cake my cat jumps in the cake feet first how can i stop his silly behavior.

Oh Kelly Thats a scream, so funny, the only thing i think you could do is put him in your bed room, have your cake in peace, then let him out of your room again. Don't let him see you take the cake out of the fridge first tho
put the cat in the basement when your having cake, and after eating cake put it in the fridge!
Stop eating cake.
get rid of the cat!
get some seperate cream to for your cat to enjoy while you have your cake and eat it.
lock the cat in another room when you have cake.
Give the cat a piece of cake to distract it from the rest of the cake!
