well I just got my cat neutered and his.backside.. looks VERY weird now. it looks like alot of flesh and tissue is showing.its not bothering him tho,he acts the same like he didnt even noticed his family jewels were gone! so what did your cats.backside.. look like when he came home?

When your cat was neutered, they did shave around his buddies, but if you are seeing tissue then there may be a problem. Some cats like to lick their wounds after having this done, and it can sometimes bring the inside out. If this is the case, then it needs to be pushed back in. You may need to take him back to be looked at. He may need to wear an E collar. (the collar that goes around his neck to keep him from reaching back to lick his wounds) If this is the case he could also get an infection. So take a really good look back there. If you just see that it is where they shaved him then its o.k., but if you see tissue, then you really need to get him back to the vet. Good Luck
Yeah they all look a little weird when they first get it done, they have to shave their backsides in order to do it, don't worry their hair will grow back and everything will heal up nicely.

give it a week. The flesh shrivels up and there is nothing..hmm like cold water on a man..LOL
I have 2 boys, and they looked saggy for a couple of days, his lil B'B's were taken out so the skin just hung a bit, but it firms up
Hi Ally, I had a cat neuter and i don't remember alot of tissue showing. They do shave the cats to get them ready for surgery. I just can remember how piss-off our cat was when they came out with him.He knew something very important was missing from his body.He stay mad for 2 weeks and then he ran off.
