My cat used to ataack my dogs all the time (lucky for him my dogs are passive). But he's been mauled twice by other dogs, the second time was by two at once. Don't worry, he's fine. Is my cat a psycho or something? What ever happened to the "Cats are afraid of dogs" thing?

Your cat is used to dogs since you have some so in his mind they are all like that and since these dogs aren't cat lovers they attacked him. He will learn not to trust all dogs one of these days. If you have a cat that is in a house with dogs then they won't be afraid of them, and same goes for the dogs if they are in the same house with a cat they will like cats.
some cats are and some arent . it seems thats your cats personality to not be afriaid.

Some cats are afraind of dogs (like one of mine) but my other cat isnt and wil attack, but he seems to know when its time to run (hes never been mauled (or atleast not badly enouf even to leave a small scratch or bald patch) so i guess your kitty just needs to learn on its own when to quit.

cats aren't really afraid of dogs they just show that on movies i have a cat too and when it sees the next door neighbors dogs i see the dogs more scared of the cat than the cat scared of them. so i think that the cat only wants to tell the dogs to stay way.
Your cat's not psycho, but I'd bet he's not been fixed, either! Have him neutered, and that will stop a lot of the aggressiveness. That said, some cats just are. I have two boys and a girl, and the girl will whip up on the boys all the time - and she's half the small boy's size!
