Cat with hurt tooth?

A neighborhood cat, I usually feed all the time, cameup to the house with it's bottom right fang sticking straight out. I don't have the money for the vet to pull it but I feel it may be in pain, though he eats really well but I see him shake his head sometimes. What do I do?
Answers:
You have to get the tooth pulled -- there is no other way. The tooth will break off, the remaining tissue and the root is porous and the cat will get an infection. Then in a couple of weeks you will be trying to feed a cat with a swollen jaw who won't be ABLE to eat.

You need to identify the person responsible for this cat and see what they intend to do about it. Maybe other people in your neighborhood would be willing to make a contribution so that a vet could take care of this properly if the owner refuses to take responsibility.

If the owners will not do anything you should report this to the humane society as failure to give adequate medical care to one's animal is neglect and can be prosecuted as a misdemeanor.
pull it out yourself.
i dont no
give him lots of crunchy food. It might fall out on it's own. If it's not hindering his appetite, then it must not be too bad.
Man leave that cat alone! That isn't your cat to take care of. Just feed him, you are already being a good saint by doing that.
There are some vets who would take a case like that for free. Maybe call around and explain. Also, PAWS or the Humane Society might help you. Do make the calls.

Someone suggested to take the cat to the Animal Shelter. This IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. Most of the cats taken to the "Shelter", are killed. That's over 90% of them. 9 out of 10. Don't take them there.
poor kitty! I would call around to vets to see what to do. if they say to bring the cat in you could find the cheapest place. it is inhumane to let it hurt
If it hasn't fallen out already, you can probably just pull it yourself.
Please take the cat to the animal shelter! ASAP!
No way do not pull it out!! Loss of tooth can lead to kidney failure!! Also death.how do I know this, my friends cat died of kidney failure whcich was caused a missing tooth!
