Hey everyone. I wrote on here earlier about a cat I found and wanted to keep. Well, we just got home from the vet and the vet even suggested I keep her rather than give her back to people who were keeping her outside. She didn't have a microchip, she didn't have FIV or feline leukemia. Whew! But she did have..fleas! Which I figured--but couldn't see any. So we just got home and I gave her a bath and we've got some Advantage and heartworm medicine. It was NOT cheap, but she's worth it. So now she's drying off and hiding from me, but it's all good. Just wanted to let everyone know!

That is fantastic! Happy new kitty to you! I am sure that she will be forever grateful.
Congratualtions, you did the right thing!
Awww Thanks. People keep your cats inside! Its much better for there health
Congratulations. You are now the proud owner (or been claimed more like it) by your new cat..ENJOY- there is nothing better then getting to know the personality of your new family member.
good for you. she will give you many years of love. if she is not spayed do it asap. and don't let her outside . the world for cats outside is a dangerous place.
CONGRADS!! And Good Luck
THAT IS THE NICEST THING I'VE HEARD ALL DAY! I'M GLAD THAT THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT ARE WILLING TO GO A LITTLE FURTHER THAN THEY EXPECTED TO GO, TO MAKE THE LIFE OF AN ANIMAL A LITTLE BIT NICER (YOU WILL BE BLESSED WITH GOOD KARMA)
Great to have a positive outcome here. You are taking very good care of your little lady and I'm sure she will repay you with a love you cannot get at any price. I hope the flea battle will not be too bad. They are such nasty little things and seem to go on forever.
Advantage will keep them off her (or kill them). You might get a flea collar to put in your vacuum cleaner bag. It will kill any fleas or eggs you such up into it.
I don't even know you and I'm so proud of you! I'ts wonderful to know that there's one less kitty roaming around free! All cats should be kept indoors. And kudos to your vet for suggesting it too! God bless you!! I think your're terrific!
Congrats, and good luck with the new addition. Just make sure you keep an eye on her when you use the advantage. My one cat was allergic to it and had to give him a bath about 20 minutes after I used it and still took him to the vet the next morning. will probably take her a bit to get used to being in a new home, but sounds like you got yourself a really good baby who should warm to you fairly quickly.
