How do I treat cat vomiting? My cat vomited twice today. If this helps, he was outside before he started vomiting.
Answers:
Many cats eat grass while they are outside. Just today, my cat was outside and later i had to clean up vomit from him. It is just a natural reaction. If it becomes more serious(3 or more times a day) you may want to take him to a vet. I hope this helps!
May have eaten something rotten.
Is the cat eating or drinking? What is it throwing up? Liguid or solid?
You can give your cat a pepcid. Not the pepcid ac the big pill, its the small pill. Usually a quarter to half a pill will settle their stomach.
Check to make sure he is not eating something posionous. I would get him to a vet immediately.
My cat was vomiting all the time and it took me a while to figure out that she was eating those crystals used for litter. I didn't notice that she wasn't eating because I had more than one cat. To make a long story short, I had to have her euthanized because she was too far gone to help.
is it furballs or did it eat something poison? its a vet thing.. i used to use catlax on mine it got rid of furballs and cleaned it out good.
See whats in the spew it could of been eating god knows what. Hope that helps =^..^= (its meant to be a cat LOL)
Not sure on what is wrong, but cats and dogs eat grass to calm their stomachs and it also aids in digestion, so maybe your cat was trying to help itself feel better by eating some grass.
well what did he vomit? food, hairball, bile? nothing per say that you can do to treat at home. hairballs you can try hairball gel or food. cats will just sometimes vomit. if they eat too fast or eat something that doesn't agree with them. but if the cat continues to vomit for a few more hours continuously then take to the vet. cats become dehydrated very quickly. good luck DO NOT give your cat any medicine esp human medicine until you consulate your vet FIRST
