Does anyone know where on Long Island there is a low cost vet clinic that I can take my cats to? I have 3 kids and little money and the cats need shots, flea meds., ect.

The Humane Society can take care of all that, and cheap. You might have to wait a few weeks to get an appointment.
Let me give you some cheap remedies. I can identify with little money. If your cats go outside you can used sulfur, for fleas which you can get a small sack for like $3.00, just dump a handful on and they will be transformed from flea bags to beauties, it also help with hair growth. If inside cats, and they will tolerate it, Dawn dish liquid will kill fleas.Roll up a ball of cigarette tobacco, push it into their throat, hold their mouth closed and rub throat, to make sure they swallow, and say good bye to worms. Now for Shots you can get those at the feed store also and give the injection under the skin, for about $4.00. I have used all these methods. I love animals, but don't have a bunch of money to go to the Vet.
