Do a lot of cats dislike Friskies?

I bought a variety pack and the cat really doesn't seem to care all that much for any of it. Tried 2 of the 3 flavors so far. He eats a little of it and loses interest. It's the canned, not dry food. Also he's really finicky about eating dry also. He's healthy but I'm thinking he might be too young for the cubs shaped bite pieces I don't know how old he is, he's about 18 inches long (not including tail) and his head is about as wide as a soda can (not as high as a soda can)

Sounds like your kitty is about 5 months old but if you take him to the vet they should be able to tell how old he is depending on his devlopment. And if he's still that little you should be feeding him kitten chow or canned kitten food. And NEVER feed cow's milk to your cats it's very hard on thier digestive systems. That and none of my cats cared much for the friskies food either. :) Good luck with your new kitty!
depends if they are used to it
Try meow mix or tuna with moist food to attract attention try giving him warm milk til hes ful grown
i had a cat that didn't like friskies, she would bury it with anything she could find, and id end up throwing it away, however she did like 9 lives, and that was cheaper, so try a few things and see which one your cat likes best, but you should make sure your cat has dry food, and water available at all times, because cats don't eat all at once, they like to eat a little now, and a little more after a while
If you think that the food is too big just get kitten food.

and cats can be finicky by nature, in the end it is not good to keep changing foods, so when you do get to and adult cat food he eats stick with it.

Oh and a cat does not know prices I had one cat that would only eat Science diet and if i mixed another in with it she would pick out the Science and leave the other.
Had another cat that would only eat the cheap store brand food and would not touch the pricey stuff.
My cat won't touch the stuff. The only thing she will eat is Fancy Feast, anything else she turns her nose up as if to say what is this * you're giving me.
A lot of cats are just finicky. I've tried lots of different kinds of canned foods. The one my cats like best is called Wysong Canine/Feline All-Meat Beef. It's also about the most expensive one out there, about $1.79 for a big can. It's one of those that in a hurricane you can pack some for yourself, too, because it's human-grade food. (The rep told me just add salt and try it on a cracker.)

I spring for it because my dogs eat it too, so there's absolutely no waste and everybody's happy.
My kitten didn't like the friskies wet food, either. He loves the meow mix pouches, though. Especially the tuna flavor! But they both like the friskies dry food.
Cats even the younger ones can be very finicky. I have several cats who won't eat certain brands or flavors.

It sounds like he may be pretty young. You can go to your local pet store and buy some KMR2 (kitten milk replacement.for older kittens,) mix it according to directions and pour it over the dry food (you can even mix it in with the canned food). Over time you can take away the KMR.

Or try feeding him some human baby food.turkey/chicken flavored. You can try mixing it with the dry food. But don't do this for a long term solution. Cats don't have to have canned food to live. Try buying him a different brand of food. If you think he is too young for the cube shaped food, you can always smash it with a fork.

Try feeding him the Purina kitten dry food. He may like that better than the Friskies.
My cat is partial to Fancy Feast and Iams.
